7.5 kW / 10 hp - 160 kW / 215 hp
A Permanent solution for varying air demands. When the air demand fluctuates in your plant, RENAIR's SMD range of Permanent Magnet Inverter rotary screw air compressors offers the ultimate solutions with consistent performance and flexible operation in the most efficient way. It can efficiently and reliably handle the varying air demand with highest energy savings
RENAIR's unique energy efficient rotary screw compressor with 5/6 profile airend and one to one direct drive ensures power savings up to 15% when compared belt or gear driven conventional air end profiles. The one to one direct drive doesn't have any transmission losses unlike the belt or gear driven compressors. Apart from transmission losses, the frictional losses are eliminated thereby reducing the maintenance cost.
Permanent magnet synchronous motors are built by using permanent magnets embedded in the steel rotor to create a constant magnetic field.

SMD series is incorporated with latest technology components designed for long service life which is true value for money
The airend with advanced design operating at lower speeds ensures the compressor consumes less energy and makes the unit highly energy efficient.
SMD series comes with industry leading airend warranty which is giving customers a peace of mind to focus on their businesses.
The entire unit is well designed and built sound proof enclosure emitting low noise levels that they can be placed at the point of use.
The high quality components with efficient air and oil filtration system ensures long service life of consumables.
SMD series gives a clean and dry compressed air when it is used with proper air treatment which is essential for your downstream equipments.
The stator inside the motor carries windings connected to an AC supply to produce a rotating magnetic field. Then at synchronous speed, the rotor poles lock to the rotating magnetic field
The inherent efficiency of a permanent magnet motor is higher than an induction motor. Both motors use a three-phase design through fully optimized performance. The eddy current losses in permanent magnet motors will be far lesser than in induction motors. Moreover, the slippage as in like induction motors is eliminated in permanent magnet motors thereby improving your heat efficiency.
